Chinese styled gem trees, both took roughly 1-2 days to
make. Made from beading wire, glass beads and gemstone chippings, embedded in candle
wax.
A pine tree, because it’s auspicious for longevity in
Chinese culture.
The fruit tree was a birthday gift for a superstitious
family friend, hence the red and gold for luck, even the number of fruit was
counted. In Chinese cultural superstitions numbers matter and using the wrong numbers or colours induce ill fate.
